St. Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend

Deep red with steely dark fruit, notes of smoke and dry foggy tannins. Good mid level Merlot/Cab blend from SE, Bordeaux. 89+

A great find this week. Brett, black cherries. Elegant tannins.

Smooth with 55pct Merlot from good 2009 vintage.

Medium deep ruby, quite narrow ruby pink rim . Dark creme de cassis , blackberry , with earthy , mineral , grafite touches , quite inviting and open , though still classic in style . On the palate more cassis , grafite , blackberry , quite juicy and round , but with balanced acidity and alcohol , rounded but noticeable tannins . Ok length . Drinking well now and will age well over the next 5-10 years

Very nice, dark fruity, medium tannin level. Smooth overall.

Slightly sharp but still very good.
