Lussac-St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend

2015 vintage. From the André Lurton stable. At the Lussac Saint-Emilion estate Château Barbe Blanche, 2 other wines are produced, Château Prieuré Lalande and this Château Tour de Ségur. It is not clear to me if this is a second wine of Barbe Blanche, but it's a blend of Merlot (65%), Cabernet Franc (25%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). Cherry fruit and a hint of vanilla. This wine features good concentration and a certain rustic charm. Good value at 11,50 euros. Abv. 14%.

Yum! Smooth but bold, not heavy! Very drinkable, semi-complex. Would buy again! Thank you France - nom!

2013 great now. Medium body. Excellent food wine.

A really nice red. Light but full bodied with a little pepper and funk to liven things up.
