Château Tayac
Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend
Margaux wines are unique in that they don't typically have the bold backbone of Saint Julien, but they have all the flavor with traditional elegance. Unfortunately their best wines are 100's of $. Chateau Margaux is the only 1st grow (out of my credit limit), so I have stuck to lower classifications. This unclassified Bordeaux smells and looks the part. It's initial fruit is pleasant, but finishes a bit gritty and tart. It's not harsh, just not a complete wine. Cheers!
