Chateau St. Jean
St. Jean Estate Vineyard Sonoma Valley Cabernet Franc
Sonoma Valley, Sonoma County, California, USA
Pleasantly surprised by this. Dusty tannins, nice acidity. Blue fruit, cocoa, tobacco, tea leaves, lovely herbaceous notes that I love in Can Franc

Jan 21st, 20161997 vintage. Delicious with lots of primary fruit remaining. Nice nose, good mid-palate and long finish. Probably has 5-10 years left.
