Part of The Capital Grille Generous Pour event. I would not have normally ordered this Chardonnay, but since it was part of the event, I tried it a few times. Had some Sauvignon Blanc characteristics with the citrus undertones, but did not have the overly buttery / oaky textures so often found in California Chardonnays. Pleasant balance of acids and roundness.

Ah no, I'm starting to move away from an appreciation of buttery Chardonnay. This one is certainly buttery, but seems a little unbalanced with 14% alc and big lemon flavor.
