Deep bruised red intense color. Vanilla, toasted nuts prevail on the nose. The palate is red berries, vanilla, and mild oak. While it sounds "new", it's quite enjoyable. With the medium plus alcohol and medium plus acidity, and tight tannins, the potential for this is tremendous. You can certainly drink this now, and I will be tempted with my other 5 bottles, but I bet this can improve by 20% over the next several years.
