Excellent wine for burgers on the grill! Slightly turbid medium garnet red. Seems Cabernet franc heavy (love) . Heavy perfume leans toward the floral and herbal. Violet, raspberry, wet basil green bell pepper and slight mushroom and a hint of coconut. Simple structure, medium body, acid, and astringency (chalky). Medium plus alcohol 13.5% is well integrated and throws just the slightest prickle on the palate but very little heat. Mouth filling red currant and a persistent black pepper on the medium finish. Much better than $15 suggests but the mood might just be striking me right. Burgers in wintertime .
