Needed a solid hour to open, but a treat when it did. This is drinking beautifully now, lots of puckery bramble fruit, smooth leather, tobacco smoke, and green herbs with assertive but integrated tannins. Shared with my pops over pork and fennel seed sausages, roasted new turnips and garden greens.

Nov 17th, 2019Drinking very well, classic northern medoc nose of graphite pencil and cedar, good medium body with deep mature fruit, well rounded, above average mature claret but never going to be spectacular.
