A very solid bordeaux that is just entering prime. A blend of Merlot, Cab, and Petit Verdot with a really interesting nose. Chocolate, tobacco, raspberry, and black pepper notes give way to medium plus acidity and finishes with some tannin still present. Drinks well now with a quick decant and should go strong for the next 5 years.

Buying by the case lets you really experience a wine through different periods of time. This has never overly impressed or disappointed. The price lets you experience it thoroughly. Good wine great value.
