Bordeaux Red Blend (75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc). Ripe dried berry/currant aromas and flavors with additional notes of vanilla, caramel and coffee. Smooth tannins and long finish. Thank You Ron B!

Nov 1st, 2021Traditional Bordeaux Red Blend (75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc). Intense aromas of bold red fruit, spices and oak. Same red fruit on the pallet with notes of tobacco and black berry. Good structure and grip. Revisited in April 2023. Above notes apply.

Inky dark in the glass. Barnyard and geraniums on initial opening. Coffee, dark chocolate, dark fruits on the nose, but fairly restrained. Beautiful sweet dark cherry fruit with a lovely balance of tannin and acidity in the mouth. Drink now or in a year or two.

Intense ruby red color with nice and firm aromas of black fruits, oak, coffee, and mint leaf on the nose. Full-bodied with ripe taste of bkackberry, plum, and mild peppery flavor on the palate. Nice structure, good control of acidity, firm tannins, and reasonable length at the end. Good French wine under Bt1,500.
