Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.
On the nose, Light peppercorn, blackberries, blueberries, cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, earth, spices, leather, smoke, bell pepper, sage, peppermint and eucalyptus.
Medium plus in body, with medium plus acidity and long legs.
Dry and earthy on the palate with plums, cherries, licorice, oak, vanilla, licorice, earth, forest floor, pencil lead, peppercorn, leather, smoke, bell pepper and sage.
Medium plus in finish with round tannins, tart strawberries and bitter almonds.
A drinkable every day red Bordeaux. Unbalanced, but good with food. Nice complexity, but a bit tart and bitter for my taste.
I paired it with cheeses and light appetizers.
A blend of 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc 2% and Petit verdot.
14% alcohol by volume.
