Nov 24th, 2016I found this Bordeaux to drink distastefully bitter, though it does pack a certain effervescence that would be nice were I not immediately put off. Although the Sauvignon Blanc grape is a minority in its composition, the strong note of grapefruit is immediately apparent, and borderline offensive. Definitely would not pair with milder seafood, for the wine would far overpower the dish. It would balance out a sea bass well, or poultry. But definitely not tailored to my tastes.

Solid white Bordeaux. Crisp and slightly dry. Unripe peach and citrus with a hint of pineapple.
