A perfectly acceptable, versatile French table wine. Went very well with the chicken remoulade and cheese course that I had tonight. A bargain at under $25 a bottle.

No, just no. Better after it had a chance to open up, but still tart and astringent with heavy tannins. Lackluster flavor. Earthy, charred, wet tree bark.
