Not sure if this identified the right wine but it was delicious with a delicious meal in Paris. Loads of dry, velvety tannins, super mineral on opening, prune, chalk, blackberry, stewed cherry.

Smooth tannins, and wonderfully dry mouthfeel. Would go great with a steak. Purchased from Whole Foods on sale for $27. I’ll buy more, for sure
