I drank it with some red meat, the flavours where awesome, really! Was full bodied but not the drying kind. Had a nice smoking taste, not too present. Would totally drink it again with some other red meat of bœuf bourguignon

2012 - already starting to open, this value Bordeaux is just starting to turn brick red. Stewed cherries, cranberry jam, dried rose petals and pencil lead on the nose; stewed tomatoes, red bell pepper, ripe plum, underripe red fruit and a bit of dusty tannins on the nose. Fantastic at this price point! Drink 2016-2022
