This is a very tasty Merlot blend from Bordeaux.

Fruit forward with medium acidity and a nice mouthfeel.

Full bodied, dry and balanced.

Showing black fruits with earth, wood, spices, peppercorn, chocolates, tobacco, graphite, light vegetables and pencil lead.

Good right out of the bottle and good by itself or with food. As it opens up, more red fruits show up.

Nice finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

A blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

Little thin, but inoffensive and easily drinkable. Better than any Bergerac we'd been drinking for nearly a week, but not any Bordeaux excitement here.
