A slightly aged hills of Bordeaux wine. Dark as night in the glass. Smells a bit funky. Stems and soils. Flavors are plummy and dry. It’s good enough. A bit of smoked meat at the end lol. Good for a week night. Taste of France

Sep 15th, 2023An organic Bordeaux red. And aged a bit too since it’s a ‘15. Just the slightest of rust on the red fleshed plum colored wine in the glass. Smells like French wine cellars maybe smell? (I’ve never been in one yet). Has a wet rocks underground and a cherry sauce element in there. Flavor is sleek and smooth. Hint of complexity in there. Good berry and cheese pastry. Plenty of bite from the tannins. A summer savory or fresh basil zing in the flavors. This is a pleasing everyday drinker from the big ole Bordeaux lands.
