Blueberries, currents, blackberry, leather, smokey match, soft tannin, beautiful structure and balance for such a young Bordeaux.

Been open for 2 days, and it's working in its favor. This should go someplace cool.

Still very young. 90 min decant.
Youthful black and blue fruits complimented by leather and a bit of smoke. Nice acidity to balance it all out.

Very tasty for a young Bordeaux. Velvety mouthfeel. Some green pepper, black berries. Did need to open up as it was big barnyard on the nose as per usual.

Late night drinking in Bordeaux. Out of a magnum.

Dark fruits, tobacco (for me). Medium to high acid, reasonably tannic and a long finish. Needed to breathe for an hour or so.

Took a while to open up, so let it sit and breathe. It'll be worth it. Lots of dark fruit. In the mouth, feels round and full with satisfying lingering finish and layered tannins. I wanted to taste the 2012 now before laying it down for a few years. It's going to be great next time around.
