Not very deep or complex. Huge nose though. Leather, dark berries, licorice. Great everyday drinking Bordeaux.

Bordeaux blend of 85% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2% Cabernet Franc. Despite being 11years old there were still big tannins. Could have laid down for another 10 years easily. Cherry, blackberry, vanilla, and spice.

From the label, “Merlot dominates with fruit and freshness. Cab Sauv brings structure and concentration.” Let’s just see... agree with previous comments about fantastic nose. Taste is rather bland though. Had hoped for more because of the old vintage. Maybe it needs to breathe, a lot?
