Nose of earth, black cherry, and floral scents of rose and violets; black fruit on the palate, fine tannins, good acid. A little too generic for me: nothing stands out in this wine for me. No real faults either but it leaves me unmoved.

Is it the most complex Bordeaux? No. Does it have any real faults? No. Dark fruits with a leathery smooth finish and balanced tannin. Usually goes for $15. Can be had on sale for as low as $10. Insanely good for that price.
