Light and earthy. Nothing special but nice for the price.

Nothing there. For the first time in my life I wanted more alcohol in a wine.

Not the most complex thing on the planet, but it's balanced and rewarding: a total winner for a $12 Bordeaux. Feels more right bank, despite having slightly more CS than Merlot (43%, 40%, 17% CF). Chocolatey cherry fruit and cedar on the nose, with sundried tomato and green pepper coming with swirling. On the palate the body is light, brisk and grabby, and very nice cherry fruit lays on the tongue, a little luxurious with the lingering tannins and chocolatey roundness of the finish. This far outclasses its price tag, and I would definitely buy again.

Medium bodied, only 12.5% alcohol. Tart berry and sour cherry. A little oaky. Not a long finish. From 7th Avenue Liquors.

Great value for the price. Not too fruity. Nice balance with the majority coming from Cabernet. Nice palette for a relatively young wine. My gut feeling is that it would be best to drink now or in the next few years.

Very oaky flavor. Drinkable but nothing too special. Not sure I understand bordaux's yet.
