I think this is why I collect wine. I bought this wine 14 years ago for 12.99 (at premier cru... ugh) thinking it is something to open with Chinese food on a Tuesday night. Stored perfectly, It got buried in the back of my cellar and I recently found it. Wow. I had it with Chinese food on a Tuesday night and it blew me away relative to my expectations. Parker called it a sleeper of the vintage and he was spot on. Almost Rhône like with its peppery palate while sticking to its Bordeaux heritage. So well done for an every day drinker
