Crazy how youthful this was at 34 years young! Still some vibrant fruit and nice layers. What a wine. Thx to Pauli for sharing!

Mature 1989 is drinking well. Tannins have softened and it’s really good now.

An amazing Bordeaux. Fruit, so smooth, and a perfect pairing with our rib sauce. Gorgeous, just simply gorgeous. Wished I had cases.

What a fine Bordeaux! Not a powerhouse but balanced, solid fruit core and a medium finish. At a nice drinking plateau! Maligned by Parker - would definitely drink this any day and surely can last several more years.
