2016 vintage. This small Cru Bourgeois estate is situated in the northern part of the Médoc appellation. Equal parts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot (45% each) with 8% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc, aged for 12 months in used barriques. Easy-drinking with rather jammy fruit and soft tannin. Obvious alcohol heat in the finish. Uncomplicated crowd pleaser, decent value at 9 euros. Abv. 14 %

Nov 26th, 2020When I saw the low price I was like no way for a 12 yr old Medoc. It was really, really good and paired well with the beef bourgonion. Slight tomato, earthy, undertones and silky smooth with good acidity. Would definitely order again!
