Glad to notice more and more decent Russian wines. Karsov is definitely one of 'em! Classic blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, aged 6 months in oak.
Straw coloured. Elegant, well-structured,
silky. Buttery mango, chamomile, withered grass, dried apricots playing main roles in bouquet. Mouthfeel with hints of gooseberry, yellow plum, lemonade, with touch of minerality.
Nicely acidic finish of green apple and lime.
Suits my Greek salad and grilled gilt-head with rosemary and green olives. Recommended.
