This 2012 has all the power & finesse of a fine vintage Bordeaux without the kick to the wallet. Mostly or all organically grown, this cab/merlot blended wine features a robust terroir in both bouquet & on the palate. Initial dark rich fruit, notably cassis & black cherry then notes of spices & vanilla together with a roasted oak finish. Soft tannins make this ideal for braised short ribs!
