Made for candlelight dinners. I can see why this is featured on more than one reliable wine list near me. Exceptionally smooth and elegant. Warm, wooded red fruit, blended tannins, medium body but not lacking. This red deserves a more suitable setting than an afternoon at the poolside--with sacrilegious dips in the ice bucket. Although frequent plunges were needed to keep us both from overheating. :) Instantly likable and consistently so. It was a joy from start to finish.
