Deep purple.

Pronounced well developed aromas, ripe fresh red plum, smoke, charred wood, stone dust, vanilla, slight hints of stewed strawberries. No noticable tertiary flavours developed, fruits all seem ripe/fresh rather than baked.

Acidity is medium +, alcohol is medium +, tannins are medium + and are fine-grained, body is medium +, flavours are medium +, finish medium +. Flavours are more redcurrant, cranberry than red plum on the palate, with the presence of smoke and cedar still being there.

Guess this is a medium plus wine.

Drink now, but has the intensity of fruit, and supporting acidity and tannins to age well. Would definitely gain further complexity with age and acidity and tannins would definitely integrate to create a more rounded wine.
