A favorite cab of mine. From Quincé a village in Brissac that has more gravel than Tuffeau. No stink on the nose only pepper and red berries. Very warm for Loire valley. Definitely a Bordeaux hiding in the Loire.

Wow. I have a really negative visceral reaction to this. Big cut green stems and overwhelming pyrazines. Some anis, dirt, leather and chalk on the nose, but on the palate the green pepper herbaceousness takes over, and it's really unpleasant. If you've ever smelled the vintage perfume Bandit, from Robert Piguet, that's the green note—pure chemical pyrazines. Not my bag... EDIT: I got a second bottle to make sure, and the first bottle is definitely a bad bottle. While the leather and gameyness is still there (with some iron and green herbs along with a medium body) thankfully the overwhelming bitter green pepper isn't there. Pleasant and quaffable, but still not really my bag...
