Cork smells of crisp red apple. Clean and a lighter colored red. 2016 vintage is 85% Merlot and you can really taste the fruit (some combo of apple and raspberry) initially. After the fruit fades you get a hint of pepper to finish.

Earthy, very thin but nice and easy to drink.

Not a fan, wife said it may have been corked however.

The Merlot, 85%, makes this fresh wine approachable. The 15% Cab gives this young wine a little structure. This is not a wine for cellar IG but a good intro to the vintage.
