The wine is clear, day bright reflections with purple color and a low concentration. Pink slightly watery rim. Medium viscosity. Nose: delicate nose with black current and black plums. Floral white lilies with pepper and cigar/tobacco. Musty forest floor earthiness on the nose. Palate: dry, medium bodied with black plum flesh, underripe black berry and tart black cherry. Leather and asphalt like flavors with some soilish barnyard notes. The oak is peppery with cedar and used tobacco pipe flavors on the finish. Medium-medium+ tannins, medium alcohol, medium + acid, medium finish and about medium complexity. A relatively well balanced wine. Very decent for the price.
