This wine drinks well enough. Pleasant with nice mouthfeel and it hits the right taste buds when swishing it around. But: the Merlot notes are much stronger than I'd hoped. I found myself wishing for a bit more of the Cab tannin and power to offset the pleasant (but very simple) round softness of the Merlot.
