Château La Tonnelle
Domaines Fabre Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend
Drank 10/8/18. Nice pairing with lamb chops.
Fairly classic nose of red fruit, currants, earth, and a touch of spice. The palate lacks some depth, but red and black fruits are present, and backed by medium tannins. Medium finish. Drink up, I don't see this improving much.

Disappointed. Very faint nose of dark fruit and some earth. Acidic on the palate. Tried to steal a cheap Bordeaux but this one misses.

Mar 5th, 2016Somewhat refrained on the nose, definitely some wood and vegetal notes. Medium tanins and a smooth finish.

Feb 27th, 2016Leather, black cherry, a sunny day after a thunderstorm and earth on the nose.
Taste: Black cherry, toasted oak, slate, leather, spice, and earth, then some more earth.
Medium complexity of a taste.
Length is extra long and beautiful.
A nice dry texture, less sexy than some wines though.
Let it air our for at least 30 min before enjoying with steak, poultry, salami, or a medium sharp cheese.
