A nose of blackberries, black currants, meat, leather, a touch of vanilla. Some alcohol on the nose too (the wine is at 14%). The palate is well balanced and the finish is long and lovely, expending seconds after seconds. Soft tannins, a touch of chocolate, of black berries, a nice acid frame. A salty touch that recalls the meat on the nose. A nice wine to be enjoyed with a meal (grilled red meat or a red meat wine stew)
