2016 vintage. A wine from the confidential Graves de Vayres appellation in Bordeaux, made by Yves Glotin (Château Goudichaud) who is also president of the Syndicat des Graves de Vayres. A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon (50/50). Fresh red fruit (cherries, strawberries) and spicy oak in the nose. Medium-bodied, juicy, round and fresh, well-structured without hard edges. Good length with retronasal red fruit and some spiciness. Well worth seeking out and good value at 14 euro. Abv. 13,5%.
