Nice dark ruby color. Worked very well with NY strip and carrots. But on its own, there is a slightly bitter taste in the beginning. However, that transforms into a rich cherry and vanilla that made me happy. Excellent buy at the price point. It's more of a food pairing wine than a sip on its own wine.
