A lighter version of malbec from Cahors. Nose with red fruits (raspberry, red currant, sour cherry) and some earthy notes and a peppery touch. The palate is very light, acid driven and tangy. Some nice red fruits beams shine all around, and there are some tannins in the rear, kicking some disruption in the mouthfeel, with a nice grainy, drying layer. The finish is sour cherry forward, with that nice grain and a tiny bitter touch. Not great but fun wine.

Despite the low price, a very enjoyable and smooth wine. Rich and purple color, good to accompany cheese and charcuterie. Not suitable for sweets and desserts
