2012 Vintage. This Syrah-based organic wind has a great depth to it - rich ruby color, fine aromas of black fruit and a pleasant earthiness and well balanced tannin and black fruit on the palate. Surprisingly harmonious and elegant, long on the palate and with great finesse. Because of the hype from the 2006 film A Good Year for which this wine was created it is in short supply but it is a lot more than some press agent's marketing creation. It's a lovely wine that holds its own in any company
