2012 Vintage. This Syrah-based organic wind has a great depth to it - rich ruby color, fine aromas of black fruit and a pleasant earthiness and well balanced tannin and black fruit on the palate. Surprisingly harmonious and elegant, long on the palate and with great finesse. Because of the hype from the 2006 film A Good Year for which this wine was created it is in short supply but it is a lot more than some press agent's marketing creation. It's a lovely wine that holds its own in any company

30 minute decant. Dark purple, almost black color. Nose is filled with brown sugar, dark cherry, and plum. Mix of CDP and Rhône. Wine is very concentrated with plum flavor to start and coffee and cocoa at the end. Lovely texture! Medium finish. Better than my first bottle of this.

45+ minute decant. Dark ruby color. Nose is a mix between bbq and cough medicine. Plum, prunes, and sweet fruit on the palate. Very CDP like. Super smooth and really coats the palate.
Not my type of wine, but great gift by my wife because of the back story. Glad I got to try it!!

Excellent white from Rhone. Classic mixture of strong southern grapes creates a wine with a rich but delicate nose which will follow with a round and luscious taste for a white wine. Red lover approved.
