Dark purple. Graphite and blackberry on the simple but inviting nose. Medium full palate yields the same with medium plus acidity and medium tannins that assert particularly on the finish. Not spectacular (go to Pomerol or St. Emilion for that), but no slouch (exceeds most "regional" Bordeaux). A solid red from a solid appellation (and an outstanding vintage) at a great price that's a perfect entree into right bank Bordeaux. Drink now through 2025 with beef, roots, or hard cheeses.

Nice punch of fruit, then turns to a dry finish.
