Really interesting wine; I can't say it's a favorite, but not bitter or unpleasant. Dry, with cedar and leather flavors. I'm also getting a mushroom taste at the end. This would be nice with sage roasted pumpkin or acorn squash in the fall.

Disgraceful tannins. I really should be watering my plants with this stuff; but I think they'd die. Heavy tobacco smoke and charred game on the palette. A good wine to lace with arsenic and poison your enemies with.
