This 1964 #hautbrion was Incredibly still young & vibrant but had all the traits I love of a top Pessac; sooty, gravel, pencil lead, minerals, soggy earth, red & black fruit.... I just could not stop sniffing it & the palate didn’t disappoint either ... but oh boy that nose was to die for 💗 & how it was still ruby red vs garnet was incredible 😍
