Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend

Very open and stable flavor. Nothing fancy but joyful. Goes really well with steak, just like how Gord cooked for us over the New Year.

Merlot seems powerful at first, but opens nicely into a balance.

Maybe too young. Needs to soften.

Earthy, rich, medium body

Deep ruby, nose is a little antiseptic, but raspberry, cherry flavors, grippy tannins

Nice on the nose, but surprisingly bitter.

Compelling bouquet but had an overpowering bitterness that just ruined the wine for me
