Chateau is situated on the left bank of the River Garonne, south of Bordeaux in the commune of Pessac-Léognan. A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, & 4% Petit Verdot. Deep purple with ripe berry fruit aromas with sweet toasty notes. On the palate rich cherry & blackberry flavors that packs a punch with dusty flinty tannins that develop nicely in the glass. Lingering ending with an earthy mineral tang. Very nice, but wait a bit in this beauty.

Smells of new French oak - like dirty cash, sawdust, and earth. Red pepper, tomato leaves, just ripe black fruits. Grippy structure. Very fine elevated grippy tannins. Acid does stand out.

17.5/20 (93/100) Насыщенный аромат с тонами варенья из чёрной смородины, ментола, кедра, пряных трав и шоколада. Тельное с умеренной кислотностью и мягкими, обволакивающими танинами. Почти идеально если бы не недостаток кислотности.

Smells more cab franc, green in nose. Taste, gravel, good earth, dark fruit and layered. Round and delicious with a little back and spice.
