Small winery owned by the same family for the last 170 years. Vineyards are 75% merlot, 25% cabernet franc; the blend seems consistent with that. Bought on a visit to the chateau. Still drinking nicely, could last a few more years if you're inclined. Decanted about an hour. Medium purple color; chocolate, leather and truffles on the nose, surprising fruit, slight bite on the finish which I enjoyed.
