Margaux Reserve Red Bordeaux Blend

What a huge surprise! Delishhhhhh! Full and filled with Margaux character many more expensive wines have. Loved the way it snuck up on us as the meal went on.

Black fruit, black licorice, dark flowers and pencil shavings. Not bad for the price, but nothing to write home about.

Austere Bordeaux ($29), still prefer NW Cabernet Sauvignon.

A shocker for the price - much better than any left bank blend that I’ve had at that price point ... easily worth $50 ... can actually start to taste the complexity and age without having to strain and search for it

Great floral and stinky smell of ripeness. Good way to end the night.

Opened up nicely but hoping this will be even better in a few more years. Full bodied, smooth and balanced.

Lovely cab blend.
