Château Gombaude-Guillot
Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

Day 1: deep and powerful, vivid wild fruit, grippy tannins.
Day 2: rich and velvety, perfectly integrated, the way Pomerol ought to taste.

1/25 - this was not as good as the first time with to much dry tannic structure. Prior bottles were 91. Did not open. For a 2012 it should’ve. 85

January 2023: at peak, very nice, great texture, too smooth - I wish it had some claws though

2012 on March 5, 2017. An excellent right bank Bordeaux that is also in my opinion a great value. As is not surprising with Kermit's wines, it is in the mainstream of what a Pomerol should be. This vintage is much more approachable early than the 2010 or the 2000. Dark berry fruit with a a lengthy herbal finish.
