Wonderfully inexpensive Bordeaux from St-Émilion, deep purple color, nose a bit tight but opens up to hints of raspberry, tar, cinnamon and sandalwood, with a medium body, a bit tannic, hints of graphite and accompanying older leather. Slightly green and with the tannins this bottle will age well and on a budget. At this price will buy a case to see how the gem developed over the years!

Dec 15th, 2016Very similar to 2009 vintage, perhaps a bit more fruit. But the limestone and floral components are signatures that clearly define this wine.

Dec 15th, 2013Red fruit and limestone, with a lively floral component that is true to its name. Excellent value ($9.99 Whole Foods).
