Americans would probably use this as a "summer sipper" (and at 15 bucks, that’s okay) but food is its friend. White fish, fried clams, fritto misto, shellfish are all possibilities.

My go-to cheap wine. Very consistent, light, crisp, and quaffable. *Note* bottle & name changed in 2016, wine is still lovely. Now called something like "Blandette"
