Decanter Award winner. Love Rhone blends. Expecting something great but was very disappointed. Thought it might be corked but not sure how that would happen w/ a synthetic cork... taste definitely off, even after decanting.

Charcoal and smoke on the nose, incredibly tannic with a blood orange rind or quinine flavor and maybe some quince. Decanting is a must. This is a food wine, lamb or steak. 2011
